Hello, Byers Parents. This evening, Mrs. Fournier in the high school will be hosting a College Financial Readiness presentation at 6:30pm tonight for all parents with students in preschool through 12th grade. Families who come will be given a free book and a rep from Horace Mann will be there to answer specific questions about college savings plans. If you are interested we ask that you RSVP by calling the front office at extension 1181. If you have questions you can also call Mrs. Fournier at extension 1180. Thank you!

Junior High Boys Basketball got a win over Limon tonight 37-12 to win their first game of the season.

You may send book fair money with your child, or you can stop by during Parent Teacher Conferences this week, November 2nd and November 3rd from 5:30 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Yes,the Book Fair will be open during the zoom Conferences.

Byers Elementary had a visit last week from the Mounted Patrol Unit. The students had the opportunity to visit with the Officers, see the horses, and ask questions. The Second Graders were chosen to receive a book called "The Happy Police Horse" and they read it as a group with the Mounted Patrol Unit. We want to thank our Resource Officer Drew Matthews for setting this up! And a big Thank You to The Mounted Patrol Unit for visiting Byers Elementary!

Varsity Football Defeats Front Range Christian in a thriller 34-32. Extends their winning streak to four games.
STATE Cross Country Runners will compete tomorrow, Saturday October 29th at the Norris Penrose Events Center in Colorado Springs. Boys run at 12:20 and Girls run at 1:40. Come out and support your Bulldog Athletes!

The Junior High Volleyball Teams took runner-up in both the A and the B Brackets today in the Byers Tournament. Both teams finished their season with winning records.
The Softball Team lost in the Quarterfinals Tonight 10-9 in extra innings. Good job to the ladies on a 23-4 season, and a shout out to Heidi Price on a heck of a High School Softball Career.
The Junior high boys basketball game vs. Wiggins has been moved to November 15th. It will take the place of the Simla games that were supposed to be on that date that have been cancelled.
Byers has 4 starters on the Strasburg Varsity Softball Team. The team won their first game of the State Tournament over Lyons 8-0. They will take on Thomas Jefferson at 2:30 in the Quarterfinals.
Varsity Football Defeats Justice 48-8 to extend their win streak to 3 in a row.
The Varsity Volleyball Team Defeated Limon on the road tonight in 4 sets.
Byers Cross Country has a successful Regional Meet. Senior Brent Haney placed 11th qualifying for State. Freshman Quincy Bowling placed 6th Qualifying for State. The full girls team also qualified for State.
